Greetings from NY

We’re currently in NY for Affiliate Summit East and we recorded this short video last night, straight from the Times Square. Check out this video and try to answer Emil and Ran’s question at the end…

  1. I think Times Square advertising is in the catagory of Branding for which there is no reliable way to measure performance. What can be measured are the performances in the Broadway Theatres around Times Square by box office income.

There are many ads in Times Square, but you’re probably referring to the main ticker. My guess is $8,742 for an ad that flashes on the main screen.

BTW, Times Square ads and lights look pale compared to major train stations in Tokyo.

Have fun guys and don’t forget to eat a Nathans HotDog while you’re there.
