How should I start using PPC Bully?
To start, simply open a new project, choose a country and enter your keywords. That's it! Within 36 hr you'll have the first results for your keywords. Afterwards, the data will be updated on a daily basis. Please note that the longer you "wait", the better results you'll have. PPC Bully scans Google daily to see which keywords triggers which ads, so a 10 day "old" data is more reliable than 1 day data.
One of the biggest features is the "Bully" which scan one project that you choose up to 24 times *each day*.
What is Bully project?
Bully is our unique feature through which we run a full scan of Google up to 24 times a day! With this unique capability, you will be able to define part of your keywords as "Bully Keywords" and have a more comprehensive view of them. You will be able to track the number of times a day the top performing ads are shown and figure out those times in a day when successful ads are not shown.
You can choose one project as Bully, If you have 5% of your keywords in that project those keywords will be scanned 24 times a day! if you have 10% of your keywords there they will be scanned 12 times a day and so on...
This is a great feature that can gives you a great competitive information and you can optimize your PPC by the hour.
Will PPC-Bully work only when I'm spying on affiliates?
Of course not. PPC-Bully is not just about affiliate marketing. In fact, it is a very useful reference tool for all types of internet marketing. It lets you see the highest ranking ads as well as the most popular ads for any given keyword over recent history. Both publishers and advertisers can benefit from this powerful tool.
Which search capabilities are supported by PPC-Bully?
PPC-Bully offers you unique and advanced search capabilities. You will be able to search ads in your account by their destination or display URLs. A common usage of this feature is to search all ads for a specific Affiliate ID or all ads for a specific merchant.
How can I view all the keywords and ads of a particular affiliate?
Very simple! Open the Search page, enter the affiliate name and press "Search" button.
What search engines are supported?
Currently we support Google. We plan to add more search engines soon.
Can I download my projects/keywords/Ads data to a CSV?
Absolutely yes!
Which CPA networks are supported by PPC-Bully?
We support all major CPA networks. Within a few days, we will be able to add any network out there. With our unique search capability, you don't need to wait any minute; you can identify any specific links any time.
In what way does PPC-Bully match broad, exact and phrase?
PPC-Bully will search for precisely the keyword entered.
In order research your keywords in broad, exact, phrase or negative matches, enter your keywords in the correct matching type:

What happens to ads that are shown regularly but occasionally?
PPC-Bully performs a search many times a day to make sure that all the keywords are covered in one day. Therefore, even if ads are only shown in the mornings, for instance, PPC-Bully will be able to track them.
After the search when you sort out your results, you will see that you can sort them out by both numbers of days as well as by percentage of results seen. As a result, you will be able to differentiate between ads that are shown once daily, and ads that are shown many times a day, everyday.

Of course you can. PPC-Bully is a fully hosted service that will work wherever you have access to the internet.
Can I use PPC-Bully to research on the US market, even if I reside outside the US?
PPC-Bully can track different regions with your keywords on Google. So, regardless of where you live, a search can be made for the following regions – Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States.
Is my data accessible or visible to other PPC-Bully users?
Not at all. Although we are interested in enhancing community aspect of PPC-Bully, we understand the need for individual privacy. Therefore, we can assure you that no other customer, subscriber, contractor or employee will have unregulated access to your data.
What is the location of PPC-Bully?
PPC-Bully.com's servers are located in the United States. Our technology and design is developed in Israel.
Project Management
How do I define the country target for the search?
When you create a new project, you need to choose the country in which the project will run. You can choose one country per project.
How can I remove a project?
On the Projects page, there is a delete button, which you can use to completely remove the project from the database.
Keyword Management
How do I add keywords to an existing project?
Click on project edit button. You have 2 options - Upload from a text file or Enter the keywords you wish to the Text pad. In both options, the file/text should be single column file/text with the keywords listed.
How many keywords should I be using for a project?
You can enter up to 500 keywords per project.
How do I identify keywords with no Ads?
You can run "Keywords with no Ads" report and retrieve all the keywords in your account with no ads. If you would like to get rid of these keywords, you can do it in bulk by selecting all the rows and clicking the "Delete" button at the bottom.
How and where do I get my keywords from?
You can make your list of keywords from a lot of sources - brainstorming being one of them! In addition there are keyword tools, web search, affiliate companies' websites and so on. Many software tools are also available to help you develop large numbers of keywords. Google Keyword Tool is an excellent and FREE choice to pick up keywords.

How is PPC-Bully set up? Is it essential to install a script? What is a cron job?
With PPC-Bully, things are simpler than ever before. You don't need to install a script. And you don't need to know what a cron job is… We don't know what it is either! Simply, go to the main page, "Signup" and subscribe to our service. Type in the keywords for your niches and leave the rest for us. PPC-Bully will then run a full scan of Google several times daily and show to you the most successful ads right at the top.
How do I change my profile data?
You can change your profile data (user name, email address, time zone, password etc.) in the Account page.
How do I terminate my account?
Users can cancel their account at any time in the Account page. In this page, there is a simple, no questions asked, two-click instant cancellation process. If the Service is canceled before the end of the current paid up plan term, the cancellation will take effect immediately and no additional charges will be made. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation and later on deletion of the user's account and relinquishment of all content in the user's account.
How should I set my time zone?
We advise you to set your time zone the same like you set it in your Google AdWords account so that when you copy and improve the profitable ads, you can easily look at the timing too.
Is there a monthly subscription?
PPC Bully is a monthly subscription service. You get daily updates 24/7 as long as you're subscribed to the service.
After payment, why does the credit card statement show the name Clk*Bank.com?
Because our credit card processor is ClickBank.com. Hence, even though all your payment is managed by PPC-Bully, the actual secure processor of the payments is ClickBank.com. In case you have any specific billing questions, please contact us.
Profitability-Indictor (PI)
Can you suggest some guidelines for "profitable ads"?
No software can guarantee you if an ad is 100% successful. However, PPC-Bully can certainly help you make a well informed guess about on the profitability of various ads. You must keep in mind that some ads are placed only to draw attention and enhance the company profile and NOT to make money. So, this implies that if an affiliate ad is showing for a long period of time at a high average position, then most likely it is a successful ad. Also, chances of success are higher if an affiliate is only sending traffic directly to an advertiser without landing page.
How the PI is being calculated?
Ad PI = (Number of Days Seen * Percentage Seen) / Number of Days since Last Seen
Example:
Ad "Birthday Flowers" was seen 12 days out of 18. The Ad was last seen 2 days ago.
- Number of Days Seen: 12 days
- Percentage Seen: 12/18 = 66.6%
- Number of Days since Last Seen: 2 days
- P-Index = (12 * 66.6%) / 2 = 4
Profitable Ad is an ad whose PI is at least 7. You can change this default threshold (7) in the Account page.
What happens if I can't see any profitable ads?
If you can't view profitable ads, chances are that your PI threshold has been set too high. You can change this setting from the Account page.
If the PI threshold is set to X, you'll have to wait at least X days before you see 'profitable' ads.
Keep in mind that the longer the ad is seen the more chances it is profitable!
